Children's Outreach Ministries 

In 2005, Pastor Libni Gasca Montenegro founded a small church in a lower-middle-class neighborhood of Bogotá, Colombia. He started the church by going door-to-door talking to people, eventually forming several small groups of discipleship and prayer.

One Sunday, Libni was preparing the small meeting room for service with two other Brazilian missionaries. Time passed and no one had come to the service. The discouraged missionaries said, “Let's just pray and call it a day.” However, Libni felt God telling him, “The service isn’t for others; it’s for me.” Instead of leaving they continued on as planned and after a half an hour of worship music, several young kids came to the door. They were kids who lived in a shack by a large sewage drain not too far from the church. They asked Libni, “Do you guys talk about Jesus here?” “Yes we do,” replied Libni, and that day they held a church service for those 5 street kids.  

Following that calling, Children's Outreach Ministries was created to help children facing abuse, neglect and homelessness.
